TATRA TRUCKS a.s. is seeking skilled and reliable Mechanics (Electrical) for deployment to the Czech Republic. The successful candidate will be responsible for vehicle diagnostics, electrical support work, troubleshooting, and repair of automotive and heavy vehicle systems.
Mechanic (Electrical)
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year experience in the automotive or mechanical field.
- Basic electrical experience including cable pulling, cable routing, and feeding cables through vehicle structures.
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings, manuals, and documentation.
- Experience in vehicle diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repair is an advantage.
- Knowledge of automotive electrical systems, engines, transmissions, braking systems, and electronic components.
- Valid driving license is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail, reliability, and ability to work independently.
- Good problem-solving and technical skills.
- Ability to cooperate effectively with production, technical, and service teams.
- Physically fit and capable of working in workshop or production environments.
Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostics and testing of vehicles and major components including engines, transmissions, braking systems, and electronic systems.
- Identify and repair mechanical and electronic faults using diagnostic tools and technical findings.
- Verify proper operation and functionality of vehicle systems after repairs and maintenance work.
- Conduct reconditioning and refurbishment of mechanical and electrical components when necessary.
- Perform electrical support tasks such as cable pulling, cable routing, and installation of wiring through vehicle structures.
- Read and interpret technical documentation, wiring diagrams, and repair manuals accurately.
- Coordinate with production, service, and technical teams to ensure efficient repair and assembly operations.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and workstations in safe and organized condition.
- Follow company safety procedures, operational standards, and quality requirements at all times.
- Report technical issues, repair progress, and operational concerns to supervisors or technical personnel.
