Dili Development Company, Lda (DDC) is seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Front Office Manager to oversee daily front office operations in a 4-star (or above) hotel environment. The successful candidate will ensure exceptional guest experiences, efficient operations, and strong team leadership.
Front Office Manager
Qualifications:
- Degree in Hospitality or equivalent.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role in a 4-star or above hotel.
- Strong customer service and leadership skills.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in hotel management systems and computer applications.
- Fluent in English; Bahasa and Mandarin are an advantage.
Responsibilities:
- Front Office Operations:
- Oversee daily front office activities including reservations, concierge, guest services, valet, and communications.
- Monitor house count, arrivals/departures, group bookings, and room allocations.
- Ensure smooth day-to-day operations and high occupancy performance.
- Conduct room inspections and ensure cleanliness standards are met.
- Perform night audit duties when required and act as Manager on Duty when needed.
- Customer Service & Guest Experience:
- Deliver exceptional guest service and handle guest concerns professionally.
- Monitor guest feedback through comment cards, reviews, and inspection scores.
- Implement customer service programs to enhance guest satisfaction.
- Ensure consistent service standards across all front office functions.
- Financial & Administrative Management:
- Manage room inventory, rates, promotions, and competitor analysis.
- Monitor revenue, payroll, and expenses to meet financial targets.
- Prepare accurate reports and analyze performance data.
- Human Resources & Team Leadership:
- Recruit, train, and supervise front office staff.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching and mentoring.
- Maintain a positive and productive work environment.
- Address employee concerns and ensure team alignment with company standards.
- Safety & Compliance:
- Ensure hotel safety, security, and compliance with health regulations.
- Conduct regular inspections of hotel premises and equipment.
- Identify and report safety hazards and security issues.
- Maintain proper key control and asset management systems.
Requirements:
- Must have a valid passport for more than 3 years
- Employment certificates
- NBI clearance valid for at least 1 year with “no derogatory / no record on file” remarks
- PEOS certificate
