MECHANIC (GAS DIESEL)

Qualifications:

  • Male applicants preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of working experience in gas/diesel mechanics or related fields
  • Vocational Diploma or Short Course Certificate holder in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
  • Minimum 2-year vocational/trade course graduate with certification in Gas/Diesel Mechanics
  • Hands-on experience in maintaining compressors, generators, and vehicles
  • Knowledge of troubleshooting minor electrical issues
  • Experience in manufacturing or pipe coating industries is an advantage
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong communication skills in English; Arabic is a plus

Responsibilities:

  • Perform maintenance and troubleshooting for compressors, generators, and vehicles
  • Conduct preventive maintenance schedules and implement corrective maintenance as needed
  • Assess work to be done and ensure safety protocols are followed
  • Maintain tools and equipment used for mechanic-related tasks
  • Suggest improvements to optimize departmental operations
  • Report directly to the supervisor regarding mechanical issues or concerns
  • Support manufacturing and pipe coating operations with equipment readiness
  • Document maintenance work and updates in reporting systems
