Specialized Oil and Gas Engineering Co. Ltd (SOGEC) is seeking an experienced PAUT Technician to perform advanced nondestructive testing (NDT) inspections.
PAUT Technician
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in PAUT and ToFD inspections.
- Vocational Diploma or Short Course Certificate in relevant fields.
- Male applicants preferred.
- Valid Level II certifications in Ultrasonic Testing (UT), Phased Array Ultrasonic Testing (PAUT), and Time of Flight Diffraction (ToFD) according to PCN, ISO, or equivalent standards.
- Additional certifications in AUT, HIC, or Corrosion Mapping are advantageous.
- Strong ability to analyze data, prepare detailed reports, and communicate findings effectively.
Responsibilities:
- Perform PAUT and ToFD inspections on welds, components, and structures to detect and evaluate internal flaws.
- Set up, calibrate, and operate PAUT and ToFD equipment for precise and accurate data collection.
- Analyze and interpret inspection data to assess material and structural conditions.
- Document and report inspection findings according to industry standards and client specifications.
- Collaborate closely with other NDT technicians, engineers, and quality control teams to ensure consistent and reliable inspection results.
- Prepare and submit inspection reports that are accurate, complete, and compliant with applicable regulations.
- Demonstrate effort to successfully pass client-conducted exams and trade tests.
