Chemical Materials Expert
Qualifications:
- Male candidates are preferred for this role.
- Master’s degree or equivalent in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 15 years of professional experience in chemical safety.
- Experience in preparing and implementing national chemical safety programs.
- Professional certifications in chemistry or chemical safety are preferred.
- Strong knowledge of chemical safety management principles.
- Proficiency in English; Arabic language skills (written and spoken) are preferred.
- Ability to work in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and adapt to local work regulations.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and leadership skills.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and monitor national chemical safety programs in line with regulatory standards.
- Prepare comprehensive chemical safety plans, risk assessments, and emergency response procedures.
- Ensure proper handling, storage, and disposal of hazardous chemicals on-site.
- Provide technical guidance and training to staff regarding chemical safety practices.
- Maintain accurate records and reports on chemical safety compliance.
- Collaborate with project management and regulatory authorities to ensure safety standards are met.
