MOLD OPERATOR

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3–7 years of experience as a Mold Operator or in a similar role.
• Hands-on experience with blow molding, injection molding, or related molding techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
• Knowledge of molding materials, process controls, and quality standards.
• Ability to perform preventive maintenance and minor mold repairs.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Physically and mentally capable of performing production tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Fluent in English, with good communication skills.
• High school diploma or vocational certification; technical training in mold operation is a plus.

Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate molding machines according to production requirements.
• Monitor and control the molding process to ensure consistent quality and specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to produce parts accurately.
• Adjust machine settings, molds, and materials to maintain proper operation and quality standards.
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of molds and machines.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve process or equipment issues to minimize downtime.
• Maintain records of production, including rejects, regrinds, and machine performance.
• Ensure compliance with safety, health, and hygiene standards during operations.
• Collaborate with the production and assembly teams to ensure timely delivery of parts.
