CAKE DECORATOR

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of working experience as a cake decorator or in a similar position.
• No minimum educational attainment is required for this position.
• Familiarity with different types of icings, decorating techniques, and equipment (airbrushes, modeling tools, etc.).
• Creative, detail-oriented, and able to execute intricate designs with precision.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Decorate cakes by applying icing, frosting, piping, and fondant using tools like airbrushes and modeling tools.
• Bake cakes and prepare fillings, working alongside the chef to ensure fresh and custom-made cakes.
• Work on variety of cake designs based on customer orders and requests.
• Keep workstations, tools, and display cases clean, organized, and compliant with health and safety regulations.
• Stay updated on decorating techniques and trends to continuously improve skills and offerings.
• Assist in maintaining inventory of decorating supplies and ingredients.
