Job Location: Saudi Arabia

King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Center is seeking a qualified Orthotist Technician to join the Orthotics Department. The Orthotist Technician will assist in designing, fabricating, fitting, and maintaining orthotic devices to support patients with musculoskeletal and neuromuscular conditions, ensuring high standards of quality and patient care. 

Orthotist Technician

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Orthotist Technician (or related Orthotics field)
  • Knowledge of orthotic fabrication techniques and materials
  • Ability to work with precision and attention to detail
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Patient-focused and professional attitude
  • Willingness to work in Saudi Arabia (KSA)

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the assessment and measurement of patients for orthotic devices
  • Fabricate and modify orthoses using materials such as plastics, metals, and composites
  • Perform casting, molding, and trimming of orthotic components
  • Ensure proper fitting, alignment, and adjustments of orthotic devices
  • Maintain and repair orthoses as required
  • Prepare and maintain accurate patient and device records
  • Follow infection control and safety procedures
  • Coordinate with orthotists, clinicians, and other healthcare staff
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and work area cleanliness
