Senior Cook

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years work experience
• Must possess NCII for Cookery or related course
• Good English communication skills

Responsibilities:

• Duties include preparing and cooking a variety of dishes; ensuring health, hygiene and safety standards are adhered to; and making sure utensils and work areas are clean and ready for the next shift.
• The Cook is also expected to support the develop
• Preparing and cooking a variety of dishes using ovens, grills, boilers, fryers, and a variety of other kitchen equipment.
• Adhere to meals number and make sure that the material quantities match the required number of meals.
  Comply with agreed portion size, cooking methods.
• Stores the food materials in the proper locations according to hygienic standards, if needed.
• Packing and loading of food in the containers and properly store them in the hot holdings.
• Carry out different cleaning tasks to maintain work area in a clean condition for the next shift.
• Promptly reports equipment and food quality issues to the sous chef.
• Support cooks and assistant cooks’ development.
• Any other ad hoc duties as directed by the sous chef.
