Butchery Assistant Manager

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years work experience
• Must be a Vocational Diploma / Short Course Certificate holder in Others or similar fields.
• Vocational training or equivalent experience in butchery or meat processing
• Experience in a supervisory or assistant managerial role is an advantage
• Strong knowledge of meat cutting, processing, and handling techniques
• Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards
• Ability to supervise and train butchery staff
• Good organizational and time management skills
• Physically fit and willing to work overseas
• Willing to assist in hands-on butchery work as needed tools

Responsibilities:

• Assist in managing daily butchery operations
• Perform and supervise meat cutting, trimming, and portioning
• Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards
• Supervise butchery staff and assist in scheduling
• Monitor inventory, stock rotation, and storage conditions
• Coordinate with suppliers and management on meat requirements
• Maintain cleanliness and proper use of tools and equipment
• Assist in preparing operational and inventory reports
