FIRE ALARM TECHNICIAN

Qualifications:

  • Male applicants are preferred
  • 5+ years of fire alarm or A/V system experience (both preferred).
  • Experience with major fire alarm brands (Notifier, EST, Honeywell, Siemens, etc.).
  • Experience with A/V platforms such as Crestron, Extron, Biamp, QSC, or similar.
  • Ability to read wiring diagrams, blueprints, and riser drawings.
  • Strong troubleshooting and customer communication skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Install, program, and service commercial fire alarm systems (addressable and conventional).
  • Install and configure A/V systems, including displays, projectors, speakers, DSPs and control systems.
  • Run, terminate, and label low-voltage cabling (CAT6, HDMI, speaker wire, control, etc.).
  • Troubleshoot system faults, wiring issues, signal problems, and device failures.
  • Work closely with project managers, contractors, IT departments, and AHJs.
  • Complete service tickets, inspection forms, and project documentation accurately
