WELDER

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Welder in construction or contracting projects.
• Knowledge of welding techniques, tools, and safety practices.
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship.
• Physically fit and capable of working in demanding site conditions.
• Welding certification is an advantage.

Responsibilities:

• Perform welding work using various welding techniques (e.g., arc, MIG, TIG, gas welding).
• Fabricate, assemble, and repair metal structures and components according to specifications.
• Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols.
• Inspect completed welds to ensure quality, strength, and accuracy.
• Operate welding equipment safely and maintain tools in good condition.
• Follow safety procedures and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Coordinate with supervisors and other trades to complete tasks efficiently.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
