IT TECHNICIAN

Qualifications:

  • Diploma or degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an IT Technician or similar technical support role.
  • Knowledge of Windows operating systems, basic networking, and hardware troubleshooting.
  • Ability to work independently and respond promptly to technical issues.
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in a construction or contracting company is an advantage.

Responsibilities:

  • Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, and peripherals.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for desktops, laptops, printers, and network issues.
  • Maintain and monitor local area networks (LAN), internet connections, and basic server systems.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity problems efficiently.
  • Perform regular system updates, backups, and preventive maintenance.
  • Ensure data security, antivirus protection, and compliance with IT policies.
  • Document technical issues, solutions, and inventory of IT equipment.
  • Coordinate with vendors and service providers when necessary.
