LABORATORY TECHNICIAN
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant working experience as a Laboratory Technician
- No minimum educational attainment is required for this position
- Strong knowledge of laboratory procedures, safety standards, and quality control protocols
- Ability to accurately perform diagnostic testing and handle laboratory equipment
Responsibilities:
- Receive, label, prepare, and store biological and chemical samples according to established protocols
- Perform routine and specialized diagnostic tests on blood, tissue, and other specimens using laboratory instruments
- Analyze test results accurately and report findings in a timely manner
- Set up, operate, maintain, clean, calibrate, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment
- Ensure strict compliance with laboratory safety, infection control, and quality assurance standards
- Maintain a clean, sterile, and organized workspace at all times
- Manage laboratory supplies and inventory, ensuring availability of reagents and materials
- Properly handle, store, and dispose of hazardous waste in accordance with safety regulations
- Document procedures, test results, and equipment maintenance accurately
