RESPIRATORY THERAPY TECHNICIAN
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience as a Respiratory Therapy Technician
- Experience in hospital or clinical respiratory care settings
- Strong knowledge of respiratory equipment, procedures, and emergency protocols
Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic tests, including arterial blood gas (ABG) analysis and lung capacity measurements
- Assess, treat, and manage patients with breathing and cardiopulmonary disorders
- Provide emergency respiratory care during critical situations such as heart attacks, strokes, drowning, or respiratory failure
- Continuously monitor patient vital signs and physiological responses to therapy, adjusting treatments as needed
- Administer oxygen therapy, aerosol medications, and mechanical ventilation support
- Educate patients and their families on lung health, disease management, and respiratory care techniques
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and healthcare teams to develop and implement effective treatment plans
- Ensure proper operation, maintenance, and infection control of respiratory equipment
- Serve patients in hospitals, clinics, and home-care environments as required
