Building Electrician

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years experience as a Building Electrician in oil & gas or petrochemical facilities
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, panels, and safety procedures
• Ability to collaborate easily with co-workers and work independently
• Familiarity with safety standards, electrical codes, and preventive maintenance
• Good problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills

Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, lighting, panels, and equipment in buildings
• Inspect electrical systems for faults and perform troubleshooting
• Ensure compliance with electrical codes, safety regulations, and site procedures
• Coordinate with supervisors, engineers, and maintenance teams on electrical requirements
• Maintain accurate records of electrical work, inspections, and maintenance activities
• Respond to emergency electrical issues promptly and safely
• Perform preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and hazards
• Work independently while supporting co-workers and overall facility operations
