NBTC Group is seeking experienced 6G Welders skilled in SMAW (Stick) and FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding) for Oil & Gas projects in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The role involves performing high-quality welding in all positions (6G) for pipelines, structural steel, and equipment, ensuring compliance with project specifications and safety standards.

6G Welder (SMAW & FCAW)

Qualifications:

• Certificate or diploma in Welding / Mechanical trade.
• Minimum 3–7 years of experience as a 6G Welder in Oil & Gas or industrial projects.
• Valid welding certifications (ASME Section IX, API, AWS, or equivalent).
• Proven experience with SMAW and FCAW welding processes.
• Experience with pipeline and structural welding projects.
• Middle East experience preferred; KSA experience is an advantage.
• Ability to work in industrial site conditions and high-temperature environments.

Responsibilities:

• Perform welding in the 6G position using SMAW and FCAW techniques.
• Read and interpret welding drawings, piping isometrics, and project specifications.
• Prepare, fit-up, and weld carbon steel, stainless steel, and alloy steel components.
• Inspect welded joints and ensure compliance with ASME, API, AWS, or project codes.
• Conduct welding tests and assist QA/QC inspectors with NDT as required.
• Maintain welding equipment, consumables, and ensure safe operation.
• Follow all HSE and site safety procedures during welding operations.
• Coordinate with supervisors and site teams to ensure timely completion of welding activities.
