NBTC Group is seeking an experienced Rigging Supervisor to oversee lifting and rigging activities for Oil & Gas projects in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The role ensures all rigging operations are executed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with client, company, and international safety standards.

Rigging Supervisor

Qualifications:

• Diploma or technical certification in rigging or mechanical discipline.
• Valid Rigging Supervisor certification (e.g., TUV, OSHA, or equivalent).
• Minimum 5–8 years of experience in rigging supervision, preferably in Oil & Gas or EPC projects.
• Strong knowledge of lifting equipment, cranes, and rigging practices.
• Familiarity with international standards and client lifting procedures.
• Middle East experience is preferred; KSA experience is a strong advantage.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate all rigging and lifting operations on site.
• Ensure lifting activities comply with approved lift plans, method statements, and risk assessments.
• Inspect rigging equipment (slings, shackles, cranes, lifting tools) before use.
• Ensure riggers are certified, competent, and following safe work practices.
• Coordinate with crane operators, lifting engineers, and site supervisors.
• Conduct toolbox talks and safety briefings related to lifting activities.
• Ensure compliance with HSE standards and client requirements.
• Stop unsafe lifting operations and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain lifting records, permits, and inspection documentation.
