INSTRUMENT TECHNICIAN

Qualifications:

• Male applicants are preferred
• Diploma, ITI, or Technical Certificate
• Valid safety certifications (e.g., Confined Space Entry, Lockout/Tagout, Hot Work Permit)
• Proficient in troubleshooting and repairing LV and MV electrical systems
• Skilled in using electrical testing equipment (megger, multimeter, clamp meter, etc.)
• Familiarity with power distribution systems, control panels, and motor control centers (MCCs)
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and single-line diagrams
• Electrical safety certification
• Permit-to-work / LOTO (Lockout-Tagout) training o Hazardous area awareness (Ex equipment, ATEX)
• Hands-on experience in a petrochemical, oil & gas, or heavy industrial environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
• Good communication and teamwork abilities
• Willingness to work in shifts or during plant emergencies
• Must be physically fit to work in industrial environments, including working at heights, in confined spaces, and in high temperature areas
