Qualifications

• Must have a Vocational Course Diploma or related Training Certificates
• Should be competent in performing routine servicing and reactive maintenance on a variety of heavy plant machinery and equipment.
• Competent in diagnosing and repairing faults on mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Competent in the conduct safety checks and inspections to ensure equipment is in full working order and to prevent failures.
• Specialize in operating relevant equipment to a high degree of efficiency & may go on to learn to operate multiple items of plant equipment in the production process.
• Competent in the proactive and routine maintenance, inspections of fixed or mobile specialist plant equipment. Should be able to maintain accurate logs of all maintenance and repair work, including hours spent and parts used.
• Competent in reporting plant defects, monitor the quality and specification of the products produced, conduct risk assessments and work to safe operating procedures, communicate with all stakeholders in a busy environment, they will be able to demons
• Must have UKVI IELTS* with a 5.5score per category

Responsibilities

• Prepare and assist with the loading and unloading of plant and equipment
• Ensure plant maintenance and repairs are completed in line with the defect tracker sheet
• Servicing of machines when their set operating hours have been met
• Assist with any maintenance and repair requirements that occur on site
• Submit sign off sheet to the Yard Manager upon completion of any repairs
• Ensure every machine is in the best possible condition to send out to site to ensure the Company is reflected in a positive light
