MATTRESS CUTTER

Qualifications:

• TESDA NCII Certificate or Trade Test Certificate in Furniture Making (Finishing) & Machining.
• Must be competent in reading and interpretation of cutting lists, patterns or production specifications.
• Must be competent in the accurate measurement and marking of foam, fabric, spring units and other materials.
• Must be competent in safely operating, maintain & repair cutting tools such as foam saws, fabric cutters and automated cutting machines.
• Must be competent in cutting foam blocks, quilting materials and padding to precise dimensions.
• Must be competent in ensuring consistency & accuracy of all cut pieces for mass production.
• Must be competent in inspecting materials for defects prior to cutting.
• Able to organize and label cut materials for easy identification in the production line.
• Able to follow safety procedures in handling sharp tools and machinery.
• Must be competent in ensuring all cuts meet quality standards and company specifications.

Responsibilities:

• Designing the templates used for different mattress sizes.
• Managing the workflow and team in the cutting department.
• Ability to stand for long shifts, lift heavy rolls of fabric or foam blocks, and perform repetitive motions.
• Strong attention to detail, spatial awareness, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
