Biology Teacher

Qualifications:

• Teaching experience in biology preferred, with a track record of improving student understanding and engagement.
• Ability to integrate technology and multimedia resources into lessons to enhance student learning.
• A valid teaching license or certification is required.
• In-depth knowledge of biological concepts, ecology, genetics and human biology.

Responsibilities:

• Preparing and delivering instructional lessons that facilitate active learning of biology
• Developing a curriculum that adheres to national and school standards
• Creating lesson plans, assignments, and assessments to track student progress
• Conducting laboratory experiments and field trips to supplement classroom instruction
• Maintaining accurate and complete student records as required by laws and school policies
