Qualifications:
- Minimum 3+ years proven experience as a Hammerhand or a similar role in the construction industry.
- Strong practical skills and a good understanding of construction methods and materials.
- Ability to read and interpret plans and drawings.
- Proficiency in using a variety of hand and power tools
- Ability to communicate in english well.
Responsibilities:
- General labouring work as required (this includes unloading trucks, assisting scaffolders, concrete work)
- Assisting qualified builders with framing, formwork, and other structural tasks.
- Cutting, measuring, and preparing materials according to project specifications.
- Handling and erecting timber and other building materials.
- Digging trenches and preparing sites for foundations.
- Using a range of hand and power tools safely and effectively.
- Keeping the work site clean, tidy, and organised.
- Following all health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Communicating effectively with the site foreman, builders, and other team members.
- Transporting materials and equipment as required
