NURSING ASSISTANT
Qualifications:
- Must have valid NCII certificate for Healthcare Services or Caregiving
- Must have at least 1-year experience in a hospital, clinic, or care home setting is preferred.
- IELTS not required (optional).
- Must have experience in providing basic patient care and support with daily living activities (e.g., bathing, grooming, feeding, mobility), monitors vital signs and condition changes
- Assists nurses with procedures, ensures cleanliness and safety, and upholds infection control and documentation standard
Responsibilities:
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and eating
- Help with mobility and transfers, including repositioning bedridden patients
- Measure and record vital signs (temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure)
- Monitor and report any changes in patient condition or behavior to nursing staff
- Support nurses with basic medical procedures and care plans
- Maintain patient hygiene, including changing linens and keeping rooms clean
- Ensure patient safety and comfort at all times
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care provided
