Tube Mill Operator

Qualifications:

• Minimum 8 years on tube mill equipment.
• Welding, safety or maintenance certifications preferred.
• Technical Diploma preferred
• English proficiency an asset.
• Strong teamwork and problem solving mindset.
• Clear communication and meticulous attention to detail.
• Proactive in reporting issues and driving continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:

• Keep tube mill running at peak performance.
• From roller setup to troubleshooting.
• Ensure consistent, high-quality steel tubes roll off the line.
• Configure rollers and set up production line.
• Feed raw materials and monitor machine operation.
• Supervise assistants and guide workflow.
• Conducts quality inspections, isolate defects and troubleshoot root cause.
• Perform basic maintenance to prevent unplanned downtime.
• Meet or exceed production plan output.
• Maintain scrap rate below 1%.
• Minimize machine downtime.

Requirements:

• Must have a valid passport for more than 3 years
• Employment certificates
• NBI clearance valid for at least 1 year with “no derogatory / no record on file” remarks
• PEOS certificate
