SCAFFOLDING INSPECTOR

Qualifications:

• Male applicants are preferred
• Minimum of 5 years work experience

Responsibilities:

• Inspect scaffolding structures during erection, modification, and dismantling to ensure compliance with standards and safety requirements.
• Verify scaffolds are built in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and load requirements.
• Certify scaffolds as safe for use by issuing inspection tags/permits.
• Monitor scaffold materials to ensure proper quality, maintenance, and storage.
• Conduct regular scaffold inspections and audits, documenting findings and corrective actions.
• Identify unsafe practices, report hazards, and enforce refinery HSE policies.
• Collaborate with scaffold supervisors, construction teams, and safety officers to resolve site issues.
• Maintain records of scaffold inspections, permits, and compliance reports.
• Provide guidance and training to scaffold crews on safe erection and usage practices.
• Support shutdowns, turnarounds, and maintenance activities by prioritizing scaffold inspection needs.
