LEAD HSE ENGINEER

Qualifications:

• Male applicants are preferred
• Minimum of 5 years work experience

Responsibilities:

• Lead the development, implementation, and monitoring of HSE policies, procedures, and programs.
• Conduct risk assessments, hazard identification, and safety audits for oil and gas facilities and projects.
• Ensure compliance with HSE standards, local regulations, and international codes (OSHA, ISO 45001, ISO 14001, API, etc.).
• Provide HSE leadership during project execution, shutdowns, turnarounds, and drilling operations.
• Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses; prepare reports and implement corrective actions.
• Develop and deliver HSE training, toolbox talks, and awareness programs for staff and contractors.
• Coordinate emergency response planning and drills with site teams.
• Oversee environmental monitoring, waste management, and sustainability initiatives.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, and construction teams to integrate HSE requirements into project plans.
• Lead and mentor HSE engineers, officers, and site safety personnel.
