SAFETY OFFICER

Qualifications:

• Male applicants are preferred
• Minimum of 5 years work experience

Responsibilities:

• Monitor daily operations to ensure compliance with HSE regulations and company safety policies.
• Conduct routine site inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify hazards and recommend corrective actions.
• Support the implementation of permit-to-work (PTW) systems and ensure safe execution of high-risk activities.
• Conduct safety inductions, toolbox talks, and training for workers and contractors.
• Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses, preparing reports and corrective action plans.
• Enforce proper use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) and safe work practices.
• Maintain and update safety records, reports, and documentation. Assist with emergency preparedness, drills, and response planning.
• Coordinate with project managers, supervisors, and safety teams to promote a safe working environment.
• Support HSE initiatives and continuous improvement programs to strengthen safety culture.
