FOREMAN / CHARGEHAND (STRUCTURAL)

Qualifications:

• Male applicants are preferred
• Minimum of 5 years work experience

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate structural fabrication, assembly, and installation activities for steel structures, supports, and modules. Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and work packages to plan daily activities.
• Allocate work to crew members, ensuring proper resource utilization and productivity.
• Inspect work progress and quality, ensuring compliance with standards, tolerances, and project requirements.
• Ensure safe lifting, rigging, and installation of heavy steel components in coordination with rigging teams.
• Conduct toolbox talks and enforce site safety policies and permit-to-work systems.
• Coordinate with engineers, supervisors, and other disciplines to resolve technical or construction issues.
• Monitor material availability, tools, and equipment required for structural works.
• Prepare daily progress reports and update supervisors or site engineers on job status.
• Mentor and guide structural technicians and fitters to improve workmanship.
