FOREMAN / CHARGEHAND (WELDING)

Qualifications:

• Male applicants are preferred
• Minimum of 5 years work experience

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate welders, fitters, and helpers to ensure timely completion of welding tasks.
• Interpret and review engineering drawings, welding procedures (WPS), and project specifications.
• Ensure welding works comply with codes, standards (ASME, API, AWS), and client requirements.
• Monitor welding processes, joint preparations, fitups, and weld quality.
• Verify welding consumables, materials, and equipment are properly stored and used.
• Liaise with QA/QC inspectors to ensure weld inspections, NDT, and approvals are completed.
• Conduct toolbox talks, enforce permit-to-work systems, and ensure strict adherence to safety protocols.
• Coordinate with supervisors, engineers, and planners to prioritize work schedules and manpower allocation.
• Maintain records of welding progress, repairs, rework, and consumable usage.
• Mentor welders to improve skills and workmanship quality
