SENIOR NETWORK ENGINEER

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Network Engineer (5+ years), with at least 2 years in a senior or lead role.
• Solid knowledge of network protocols (e.g., BGP, OSPF, EIGRP), switching, and routing.
• Experience with Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, or other enterprise-grade networking equipment.
• Familiarity with firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and network monitoring tools
• Hands-on experience with cloud networking (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) is a plus

Responsibilities: 

• Develop and deploy secure, scalable network architectures (LAN, WAN, WLAN, VPN).
• Set up routers, switches, firewalls, wireless access points, and other devices.
• Continuously check system performance and ensure optimal operation with minimal downtime.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and other network-related problems promptly.
• Implement and manage firewalls, VPNs, and access controls; monitor for suspicious activity.
• Regularly update firmware, software, and security patches on all network devices.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of network designs, diagrams, and maintenance logs.
• Work with internal teams and external providers to plan, test, and roll out network solutions.
• Research emerging network technologies and recommend improvements or upgrades.
