Corrugator Machine Operator

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience operating corrugation or related paper converting machinery
  • Technical training or certification in corrugated board manufacturing
  • Experience reading tape measures accurately (e.g., to 1/16″) and performing basic math for dimension checks
  • Proven track record of reducing waste, increasing uptime, or improving output quality

Responsibilities:

  • Set up, thread paper rolls, and operate the corrugator (single facer, double backer, slitter, stacker) to meet production targets and specifications
  • Monitor machine operations, adjust speed, tension, temperature, glue flow, and perform minor repairs as needed
  • Conduct routine maintenance—cleaning, lubrication, wear checks—and support troubleshooting to minimize downtime
  • Inspect finished corrugated sheets for defects (e.g., thickness, bonding) and take corrective action to meet quality standards
  • Complete production logs and quality control documentation accurately and in a timely manner
  • Maintain a clean, organized workspace and observe all safety protocols (e.g., lockout/tagout, PPE)
