Help Desk Operator

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years work experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent; IT certification (e.g., CompTIA A+, ITIL) is a plus.
  • Previous experience in a help desk, IT support, or customer service role preferred.
  • Basic understanding of computer systems, mobile devices, and other tech products.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Windows, Office Suite, and remote desktop tools

Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and resolve basic technical issues related to software, hardware, printers, and networks.
  • Escalate complex problems to the appropriate IT staff or tier-2 support.
  • Log all support requests and actions taken in the help desk system accurately.
  • Guide users through step-by-step solutions and provide clear instructions.
  • Monitor and follow up on open tickets to ensure timely closure.
  • Maintain technical documentation and user guides as needed.
  • Assist in the setup and configuration of computers and peripheral equipment.
  • Ensure adherence to company IT policies and data protection standards.
