Structural & Mechanical Engineer

Qualifications:

• 7-10 years experience running FEA simulations in Solidworks, ANSYS, or Altair.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Experience with Solidworks
• Functional English (spoken and written)

Responsibilities:

• Weekly check-in with engineering manager to review project status, deliverables.
• Modify Solidworks CAD models to optimize for FEA simulation.
• Perform FEA simulations using 3D experience platform:
• Static stress simulations
• Vibration & fatigue studies
• Prepare simulation result reports to assist in developing engineering recommendations for:
• Areas of concern: points of high stress or fatigue
• Key inspection areas and inspection schedule
• Predicted lifetime studies
• Factor of safety analysis
• Engineered failure modes
• Prepare test procedures for validating FEA results and test designs.
• Value engineering: use industry knowledge and FEA software to propose design changes that reduce material cost or time to build in the product.

Requirements:

• Must have a valid passport for more than 3 years
• Employment certificates
• NBI clearance valid for at least 1 year with “no derogatory / no record on file” remarks
• PEOS certificate
