Teppanyaki Chef

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a Teppanyaki Chef or in a similar role in a Japanese or fine dining restaurant is preferred.
• Experience in a high-energy, customer-focused culinary environment is beneficial.
• Expertise in teppanyaki grilling techniques and Japanese cuisine.
• Ability to prepare, cook, and present dishes in an engaging and entertaining manner.
• Strong interpersonal skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
• Ability to perform under pressure while maintaining composure and professionalism.
• Ability to stand for long periods and work in a fast-paced, hot kitchen environment.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare a variety of Japanese dishes, such as meats, seafood, vegetables, rice, and noodles, on a flat, iron grill.
• Ensure proper seasoning, timing, and temperature control to deliver consistently excellent dishes.
• Create visually appealing presentations for customers.
• Perform live cooking demonstrations and interact with guests while preparing meals, showcasing flair, precision, and creativity.
• Maintain a friendly and engaging demeanor to create a memorable dining experience.
• Prepare ingredients and sauces before cooking, ensuring the freshness and quality of all items.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and communicate with kitchen staff regarding stock levels, ensuring ingredients are replenished in a timely manner.
• Follow food safety guidelines and hygiene standards in preparing, cooking, and handling food.
• Clean and sanitize the teppan grill, utensils, and cooking area regularly to ensure a safe and hygienic environment.
• Work closely with kitchen staff and restaurant management to ensure smooth operations

Requirements Needed:

• High School Diploma if High School Graduate
• Diploma and TOR if College Graduate
• Employment certificates (previous to present)
• Trainings attended
• Exit visa and Iqama id (Ex Saudi)
• Passport copy (1 year valid)
