Fire Alarm Technician

Qualifications:

• 2-5 years of experience in fire alarm systems, preferably with experience in fire suppression system installations
• NICET (National Institute for Certification in Engineering Technologies) Level II or III certification in Fire Alarm Systems
• Strong understanding of fire alarm systems and components
• Ability to read and interpret fire alarm blueprints and schematics
• Completion of an electrical apprenticeship program or equivalent training

Responsibilities:

• Install, test, and troubleshoot fire alarm systems
• Integrate fire alarm systems with fire suppression fire suppression systems
• Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of fire alarm systems
• Respond to fire alarms and troubleshoot problems
• Prepare and maintain fire alarm system documentation
• Stay up-to-date on fire alarm codes and standards
