We’re looking for a skilled Structural Steel Fabricator to join our team and help build the backbone of tomorrow’s structures. If you’re precise, detail-oriented, and experienced in steel fabrication, we want to hear from you!
Structural Steel Fabricator
Qualifications:
- Experience in structural steel fabrication
- Ability to read and interpret Tekla drawings
- Skilled in using measuring tools and MIG welding
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy
Responsibilities:
- Assemble structural steelwork members from pre-cut and drilled components
- Read and interpret Tekla drawings to determine dimensions and specifications
- Accurately measure and mark main members using steel tape and set square
- Tack plates and fittings into position using MIG welding
- Ensure accuracy within +/- 3mm before presenting work for full welding
- Mark weld sizes and paint finish requirements on assemblies as per engineers’ instructions
- Ensure that all farming and milking equipment is properly maintained. Grass Maintenance.
