COMMI 1 (BUTCHERY BACKGROUND)

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role within a premium dining establishment.
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
• Fluency in English is a must, a college or culinary diploma is required.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the Executive Chef and Sous Chef in all aspects of kitchen operations.
• Prepare and cook high-quality dishes to the required standard.
• Ensure that all food is prepared in a timely manner and served at the correct temperature.
• Manage and maintain kitchen equipment and ensure that it is kept clean and in good working order.
• Monitor and control food waste and kitchen expenses.
• Follow all health and safety guidelines and food hygiene regulations.
• Assist with the creation of new menu items and specials.
• Train and mentor junior members of the kitchen team.
• Work closely with the front-of-house team to ensure that guests receive a high-quality dining experience.
