Electrical Design Engineer (Power Control Room / Modular Substation / E-House / Prefabricated Substation)

Qualifications:

• Direct work experience of minimum 5 years in the field of Electrical & Instrumentation Design/Engineering of HV/MV/LV Substations for the Utility or Oil & Gas Industry (e.g. National Grid / Saudi Electricity Company. Saudi Aramco, Sabic/ Royal Commission, etc) Power System Protection & Control, by using various design application software & AutoCAD / MicroStation. Proficient in English language
• BS Electrical / Electronics / Communications / Instrumentation / Commutations / Mechatronics)
• Strong knowledge of requirement of various equipment/system in the Substation like, HVAC, Fire alarm, Fire Fighting, etc. and good knowledge of International Technical Standards (ANSI, IEC, ASTM, NEMA, DIN, NFPA, SASO, Etc.

Responsibilities:

• Technical activities related to Electrical Design, Engineering of HV/MV/LV Power Control Room / Modular Substation / E-House / Prefabricated Substation using various software, including but not limited to the following:
  1. To yield a safe, quality & cost-effective design / Product in a timely manner as per
     client’s requirements.
  2. To study & comply with required standards & specification,
     etc.
  3. To perform & prepare HV/MV/LV Substation Electrical & Instrumentation
     design calculation including lighting, grounding, shielding, Battery & Battery Charge
     sizing, Station service transformer sizing & relevant drawings/documents.
  4. To prepare electrical layout drawings (General Equipment Arrangement, lighting,
     grounding, shielding, cable routing, etc.)
  5. To perform interfacing, design review & validation of PSA, DCS, Fire Alarm, Communication, Data and Telephone system
  6. To prepare Bill of Material, Documents and Drawings, etc.
  7. To select and evaluate related material & components, e.g. lighting fixtures, Panelboards, HV/MV/LV cables, MCTs, grounding busbars, shielding mast, surge arrestor. Etc.
  8. To perform technical evaluation for the quotations of Electrical equipment / materials and
     placing the purchase order.
  9. To provide technical support and product cost sheets to sales engineers.
  10. To perform design & development of other products (& drawings/documents) as deemed necessary by the company.

💸 Starting Basic Salary & Benefits:
💰 Basic Salary: SR. 5,148.00
