Electrical Design Engineer (Low Voltage Switchgear)
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in Low Voltage Design Engineer in Switchgear Manufacturing Company.
- Education: BS Electrical Engineering
- Good experience in CAD software like AutoCAD/MicroStation/Elecdes.
- Experience in ERP software and entering BOM.
- Has a good knowledge of system relaying and a similar Engineering work of equipment.
- Familiar with International Technical Standards (ANSI/IEC/UL) related to the job category.
- Knowledge of NEMA/IEC Enclosure types and classifications. Relay configuration and Industrial Communication Protocols.
Responsibilities:
- Engineering work of Low Voltage Switchgear, Motor Control Center, Switchboard, Switch Racks, Panel Boards, VFD, Soft Starter, Control Panel and similar equipment.
- Review customer requirements and specifications and do the engineering work for. assigned jobs which would include but not limited to equipment layout drawings, BOM, three-line diagrams, section views, and design calculations as per agreed timelines.
- Prepare ordering information and initiate procurement of raw materials/components. Capable of defining the technical specifications of the product components.
- Cooperate and coordinate with production and quality team to resolve issues and improve design quality.
- Ensure timely creation and release of the BOM to meet manufacturing targets.
