INJECTION MOLDING MACHINE OPERATOR (PET PRODUCTION)

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years work experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in machine operation or related field is a plus.
  • Previous experience operating injection molding machines, preferably in the production of PET caps and preforms, is preferred

Responsibilities:

  • The Injection Molding Machine Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining injection molding machines used in the production of PET caps and preforms. This role involves setting up machines, monitoring production processes, ensuring product
  • Setup and Calibration: Set up and calibrate injection molding machines, including configuring machine settings, loading molds, and adjusting temperatures and pressures according to production specifications.
  • Production Monitoring: Operate machines to produce PET caps and preforms, monitoring the production process to ensure that products meet quality and safety standards.
  • Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve issues with machinery, including addressing mechanical or operational problems that may arise during production.
  • Product Inspection: Inspect finished PET caps and preforms for defects, such as dimensional inaccuracies, surface imperfections, or other quality issues. Use gauges, calipers, and other measurement tools as needed.
