PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT SPECIALIST

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years work experience
  • Have an experience in developing new products, revised products and manage food and safety

Responsibilities:

  • Develop new products and improve existing ones, focusing on taste, texture, nutritional value, and shelf life.
  • Conduct research on ingredients, market trends, and customer preferences to create innovative food products.
  • Formulate recipes and oversee the trial production runs, ensuring products meet established specifications.
  • Manage multiple product development projects simultaneously, ensuring timelines are met from concept through to launch
  • Coordinate with other departments such as procurement, quality assurance, and production to facilitate smooth products rollouts
  • Prepare detailed project reports, including cost analysis, progress updates, and risk assessments.
  • Ensuring all new and revised products comply with food safety standards, industry regulations, and company policies
  • Collaborates with the quality assurance team to establish and maintain high-quality standards throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Conduct consumer testing and gather feedback to refine products
  • Analyze market trends and competitor products to identify opportunities for innovation and product differentiation
  • Work with the Marketing team to align product development with customer demand and market positioning
