Financial Controller

Qualifications:

• Must be a Post Graduate qualification of either CPA or CA
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accountancy or Commerce
• Solid working knowledge of costing in a construction environment; including BOM
• Understanding of general ledger reporting, forecasting, & budgeting
• Exposure to ERP systems and costing systems
• Effective communication and teamwork skills and Strong leadership experience

Responsibilities:

• Developing financial strategy, including risk minimization plans and opportunity forecasting
• Producing financial statements and reports to guide decision-making
• Managing annual budgets and forecasts
• Ensuring compliance with statutory law and financial regulations
• Preparing company tax returns and Managing cash flow
• Managing the accounting and finance departments
• Hiring, training, and supervising accounting team members
• Managing relationships with external auditors and banks
• Mentoring and staff development
• Working closely with management or executive teams to share reports and analysis findings
