CAR MECHANIC

Qualifications:

• Male, up to 45 years old
• High school diploma
• 3-5 years of relevant experience

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical components of vehicles with the manager and other mechanics.
• Listen to clients to understand vehicle history, potential issues, and desired services.
• Conduct test drives, inspections, and diagnostic tests to identify problems and determine parts for repair or replacement.
• Perform preventative maintenance, including oil changes, fluid replacements, and brake services.
• Repair vehicle body damage and wash and paint the exterior. Generate repair timelines and estimates and discuss options with clients.
• Inspect internal systems and controls to ensure proper operation and regulatory compliance.
• Maintain accurate records of clients, vehicles, parts, and service history
• Use shop equipment as instructed and perform regular maintenance and repairs.
• Participate in learning opportunities to enhance technical skills and job knowledge.
