RIGGING SUPERVISOR

Qualifications:

• Male applicants
• Minimum of 8 years work experience

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate rigging and lifting operations for refinery construction, shutdowns, and maintenance.
• Review and implement lifting plans, ensuring adherence to engineering specifications and safety standards.
• Inspect rigging gear (slings, shackles, hooks, spreader bars, etc.) to ensure certification and safe operation.
• Assign tasks and oversee rigging crews, ensuring proper setup and execution of lifting operations.
• Monitor crane operations and verify ground conditions, load stability, and lifting configurations.
• Conduct toolbox talks, safety briefings, and onthe-job training for rigging teams.
• Collaborate with engineers, planners, and safety officers to resolve rigging-related issues.
• Maintain accurate daily reports, rigging logs, and inspection records.
• Ensure compliance with refinery HSE policies and industry standards (ASME B30, API, OSHA, LOLER).
• Support turnaround and project planning by assessing rigging requirements.
