Diesel Truck / Trailer Mechanic

Qualifications:

• 25 years old and above
• Must be fit to work
• 5+ years of verifiable, consistent & proven work experience
• With overseas experience is a plus
• At least one (1) year of vocational or college education is preferred to exempt candidates from English language proficiency tests (IELTS, TOEFL or PTE). However, candidates who have not completed this level of education will be required to take one of these English language tests.
• With experience in any of the following:
  • European brands – IVECO, Volvo, Scania, MAN, Mercedes BenzAmerican brands – Kenworth, Peterbilt, Mack, Freightliner
  • Japanese brands – Isuzu, Hino, Mitsibushi

Responsibilities:

• Diagnosing diesel truck problems: Identifying and assessing mechanical and electrical issues with diesel trucks using diagnostic tools, scan tools and techniques.
• Repairing diesel engines: Overhauling, rebuilding, and repairing diesel truck engines, including replacing components such as pistons, cylinders, and valves.
• Maintaining diesel truck systems: Servicing brakes, suspension, electrical systems, and other components of diesel trucks.
• Troubleshooting diesel truck issues: Identifying and resolving problems with diesel truck engines, transmissions, and other systems.
• Adhering to safety regulations: Following industry standards and guidelines to ensure a safe work environment.
