PLUMBER

Qualifications:

• Male applicants
• Minimum of 3 years work experience
• Extensive hands-on experience in plumbing system design, installation, and maintenance.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools, and the ability to use pressure gauges, augers, pullers, and wrenches.
• Thorough understanding of plumbing system maintenance and repairs, and current field regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Install pipes, fixtures, and appliances, such as toilets, bathtubs, dishwashers, and water heaters.
• Perform routine maintenance, such as replacing worn washers and gaskets. They also maintain septic systems, which are underground tanks that collect waste from homes without a sewer connection.
• Repair broken pipes, fixtures, and appliances, such as washing machines and sinks. They also clean drains and remove obstructions.
• Respond to plumbing emergencies, determine the issue, and make a repair.
• Read blueprints and drawings to understand the layout of plumbing, waste disposal, and water supply systems. They also coordinate with other building professionals on a jobsite.
