Assistant Teacher

Qualifications:

• Must hold Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Care and Education or equivalent qualifications.  Additional certifications may be preferred
• Strong communication skills, patience, creativity, and a genuine love for working with young children are essential traits for this position

Responsibilities:

• Assist the lead teacher in planning and implementing daily activities that include songs, games, storytelling, and other educational experiences tailored to children’s developmental needs
• Engage in routine care activities, which may involve helping children with personal hygiene, feeding, and ensuring their overall well-being throughout the day
• Prepare educational materials and resources for lessons, including art supplies and learning aids. This also involves setting up the classroom for various activities
• Participate in communicating with parents regarding their child’s progress and any concerns that may arise during school hours
• Build trusting relationships with children to create a supportive and nurturing environment conducive to learning
