HYGIENE OFFICER

Qualifications:

• Male applicants
• Minimum 3-5 years of proven experience in a similar position in Saudi Arabia or in GCC.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the smooth functioning of Quality Department.
• Overall responsible for ensuring the continual implementation of the HACCP / HSE System.
• Responsible for organizing monthly HACCP/ HSE meetings.
• Train the site personnel on procedures and policies.
• Participate in QHSE/ Food Safety Inspections or audits by clients and Company Management.
• Responsible for coordination with competent authorities.
• Ensure internal inspections/audits are performed at regular intervals.
• Conduct routine HSE inspections, prepare reports with recommendations, corrective action, and target dates, and follow up on the closeouts.
• Ensure proper corrective actions are identified and implemented.
• Investigate and report all incidents/ accidents and have corrective action. Supervise and monitor daily/weekly/monthly checklists and reports.
• Ensure internal food sample is being retained and recorded.
• Ensure proper sanitization and cleaning procedures are followed.
• Check proper color coding is being followed by kitchen staff in liaising with Chef and Project Manager.
• Ensuring kitchen and kitchen premises are well cleaned and maintained.
• Ensuring proper date labeling for each item.
• Ensuring FIFO, Storage practices, and no expired items are being used or stored.
• Ensuring that proper waste segregation is being followed.
