Carpenter

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years work experience
• Preferably have trade experience as a leading hand/crew leader.
• Carpentry qualification and proficiency in reading plans.
• Physically fit and strong, as the work is strenuous and involves heavy lifting.
• Adhere to safety regulations and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Exhibit leadership skills and an impeccable work ethic.
• Must have completed high school as a minimum, preferably some tertiary education
• Complete documents – COE, Diploma, Passport and Certificates

Responsibilities:

• Oversee a crew of 3-5 workers installing AAC (Autoclaved Aerated Concrete) panels on residential job sites.
• Demonstrate proficiency in reading plans, strong leadership skills, a fantastic work ethic, and the ability to work independently.
• Read plans and set up the job each morning.
• Complete safety assessments onsite.
• Ensure all workers adhere to safety requirements and follow correct procedures.
• Liaise with Maaken supervisors and update them on job status.
